Minority Ethnic Women in Scotland are confident and empowered to achieve their full capacity, becoming recognised leaders in society; education, employment, politics, communities and other fields.
Mission
To establish a network for minority ethnic women in Scotland, creating a safe and open environment to discus and share knowledge, raise awareness, and implement strategies to challenge any inequality.

- Increased leadership among minority ethnic women
- Empowered and informed minority ethnic women
- Increased representation of minority ethnic women in public and political life
- Better life outcomes for minority ethnic women – in relation to career, health, personal and professional development
- Increased visibility and recognition of presence of the contribution by minority ethnic women to Scottish society
Objectives
- To develop a National network to discuss and debate issues relevant to minority ethnic women
- To facilitate ongoing discussions amongst minority ethnic women and with other stakeholders
- To facilitate mentoring and peer support relationships for minority ethnic women
- To promote positive image of minority ethnic women and challenge stereotypes
- To increase representation and participation by minority ethnic women in public and political life
- To celebrate and recognise the successes and achievements of minority ethnic women in Scotland
